PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ashes burying method for easily burying ashes at a location deep under a plant without digging soil at the time of burial, and avoiding provoking a feeling of repulsion of the neighborhood, and to provide a tomb structure before burial. SOLUTION: According to the method, (a) a burial pot 10 having a storage portion in which soil is stored, and a space securing porion extending downward from a bottom surface of the storage portion, for securing an urn storage space, is buried in the ground with an upper-edge opening portion thereof set at an upper portion, and the plant 21 is planted in the soil in the storage portion. (b) When ashes are buried, the burial pot 10 is pulled up (c) to store the urn 10 in a space 41 where the space securing portion has taken up before pulling up the pot, and (d) a space 40 where the storage portion has taken up before pulling up the pot, is filled with the soil, followed by planting the plant 21 in the soil.
