In order to permit a long service life with the shortest possible structural width of the thrust bearing, it is provided that the rolling bodies (4) of the thrust bearing are embodied as spherical rollers (10, 10', 10', 10' '), which spherical rollers (10, 10', 10', 10' ') are formed with in each case two side faces (12) which are symmetrically flattened from a spherical basic shape and which are arranged parallel to one another, and which spherical rollers (10, 10', 10', 10' ') have a width between the side faces (12) which is reduced by 15% to 40% in relation to the diameter of their spherical basic shape.
