POWDERY DRY SEASONING, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

A liquid seasoning comprising sodium chloride, a seasoning ingredient, and a solvent is dried at a temperature not higher than the boiling temperature of the liquid to produce a mixture comprising large-diameter spheres and small-diameter spheres. The solvent does not vaporize abruptly but evaporates gradually. The ingredients in the state of being dissolved in the water, in particular, sodium chloride, do not gather in a surface layer part of each large-diameter sphere but are held in an inner part thereof. Thus, the sodium chloride is inhibited from segregating in the surface layer part, and deliquescence is reduced. Consequently, a powdery dry seasoning having low deliquescence during use and excellent long-term storability can be obtained.
