MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR HORN ARRAY TYPE ANTENNA

A method for manufacturing a horn array type antenna is provided to improve performance of the antenna and reduce a size and a weight of the antenna by having sufficient resistance even when thinly coating a metal thin film. A method for manufacturing a horn array type antenna includes the steps of: manufacturing first to fifth layers of the antenna(S800); pre-processing the first to fifth layers(S810,S820,S830); coating a metal thin film on the first to fifth layers through sputtering(S840); and assembling the first to fifth layers(S850). Each of the first to fifth layers constituting a body of the horn array type antenna is injection-molded by using plastic resin in the step of manufacturing the first to fifth layers. The pre-processing step is performed to increase the adhesion force of a metal material to the body of the antenna.
