<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire for easily maintaining a light source, and at the same time capable of stably maintaining reflection efficiency of a reflector board for a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The luminaire 10 has a discharge lamp 16 with a length L below 3 mm, a reflector 18 reflecting a light from the discharge lamp 16 in a predetermined direction, and a reflecting device 22 having the reflecting board 20 farther reflecting the light reflected by the reflector 18 to irradiating objects 12, 14. The reflecting device 22 is located remote from the discharge lamp 16, and an antifouling layer 56 is formed on the reflecting board 20 including a photocatalyst. Accordingly, the discharge lamp 16 can be disposed in a lower location even when the reflecting device 22 is set at a height, and the self-purification of the antifouling layer 56 can be activated by irradiating the light from the discharge lamp 16 to the reflecting board 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
