<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the whole processing time required to complete output to a printer from print instructions in conversion processing to printer setting data. <P>SOLUTION: This printing control system comprises a data separating section 12 separating input print data into print job definition data and content data; a printer setting data conversion section 13 converting the print job definition data into a plurality of printer setting data as candidates of data used in setting a printer; a printer setting data storing section 16 storing and preserving the plurality of printer setting data; a printer setting data management section 14 determining the necessity of conversion processing referring to the converted printer setting data preserved in the printer setting data preserving section 16 concerning the printer setting data corresponding to the print job definition data; and a control section 11 controlling the operation of each section and output to the printer 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
