PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter medium for air cleaning which has excellent dust-removing performance and antibacterial/antiallergic performance, causes the occurrence of no odor or detachment of agents from the medium and is low in the aeration resistance and a filter. SOLUTION: The filter medium for air cleaning keeps an upstream member composed of a nonwoven fabric supporting a proanthocyanidin-containing material or the extract of grapes overlying a downstream member composed of an electret nonwoven fabric.
