PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the adverse effect of the short-circuiting of power supply in peripheral boards from spreading to the whole game machine, and to easily specify a malfunctioning peripheral board. SOLUTION: The game machine comprises a plurality of peripheral boards; a plurality of power supply lines for feeding electric power to the plurality of peripheral boards; a plurality of power monitoring circuits for monitoring the short-circuiting of power supply in the plurality of power supply lines or peripheral boards; a plurality of shut-off circuits for shutting off the power supply to the plurality of power supply lines or peripheral boards; a determination part for determining the position of short-circuiting of the power supply; and a processing part for announcing the position of short-circuiting of the power supply based on the output of the determination part. If the short-circuiting of the power supply is detected in any one of the plurality of the power supply monitoring circuits, the plurality of the shut-off circuits shut off the power supply to the corresponding power supply line or peripheral board.
