AIRTIGHT CONTAINER HAVING PRESSURE PLATE CLOSING UP THE INSIDE

An airtight container having a pressure plate is provided to increase an airtight function of the container by bringing a packing of an auxiliary lid into a close contact with a gradually narrowed tapered surface of a flange formed in a hole of the pressure plate. An airtight container comprises: a body having a storage chamber; a lid for opening and closing the storage chamber; and a pressure plate(4). The pressure plate is constituted by a first packing formed at the rim to be closely adhered to an inner wall of the storage chamber, a flange(4d) protruded around the circumference of a through-hole formed inside, an auxiliary lid(4a) detachably assembled in the hole, a second packing(4a-1) installed at the rim to be closely adhered to an inner wall of the flange, and a stopper for controlling air entry. The flange forms a tapered surface with a gradually decreasing diameter towards the free end, and a stop bar(4d-2) to which the second packing is closely adhered is protruded at the inner end of the tapered surface.
