PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor having excellent conductivity of a solid-state electrolytic layer and small ESR (equivalent series resistance). SOLUTION: The capacitor is provided with an anode 11 formed of a porous material of a valve metal, a dielectric material layer 12 formed with oxidation of the front surface of anode 11, and a cathode 13 formed in the front surface side of the dielectric material layer 12. The cathode 13 includes a solid-state electrolytic layer 13a having aπ-conjugated conductive polymer, a polyanion, and a compound expressed by the following general expression (1).
