PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down-pipe mounting structure which improves quality by suppressing the protrusion of the whole of a down pipe from an external facing panel so as to improve an appearance of a building. SOLUTION: This down-pipe mounting structure 1 forms a groove portion 4 which comprises an exterior wall body 2, and ends 3a of the pair of external facing panels 3 provided on the exterior wall body 2 of the building. A long base material 7 is inserted into the groove portion 4. The base material 7 comprises a storage portion 5 as a rectangular cross-section recess, which is composed of both side surfaces 5a and a bottom portion 5b, and a cover material 6 which is provided at the leading ends 5c of both the side surfaces 5a in parallel with the bottom portion 5b, so as to cover the end 3a of the external facing panel 3. A leading end 6a of the cover material 6 is folded back as a folded portion 6c to the side of the bottom portion 5b. The down pipe 9 is fixed to the exterior wall body 2 through the bottom portion 5b of the base material 7 via a fixing implement 10. The fixing implement 10 comprises an annular portion 10a which is brought into close contact with the periphery of the down pipe 9, and a screw portion 10b which is provided in such a manner as to continue into the annular portion 10a.
