PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition containing an emulsion and used for an aqueous coating for forming a coated film having less soiling of the coated film surface by the absorption of dusts or oily substance in the air and a good soil resistance hardly having rain line traces after raining over a long period of time and also having an excellent waterproof property. SOLUTION: This resin composition contains the emulsion obtained by performing the emulsion polymerization of (A) 100 pts.mass 1 kind or≥2 kinds of anα,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer by using (B) 10 to 300 pts.mass (solid content) water dispersive spherical colloidal silica SiO<SB>2</SB>having 4 to 100 nm mean particle diameter as an emulsion stabilizer.
