Disclosed herein are compounds of the formula (I) wherein: R is alkyl; R' is a moiety selected from the group consisting of (II) and (III) w is 0 or 1; x is 1 or 2; y is 1, 2, 3, or 4; and Z is a linear, branched, cyclic, or aromatic hydrocarbon. These compounds are excellent stabilizers for halogen-containing resins, such as PVC.
