A bipolar battery is provided to ensure excellent battery performances by preventing incorporation of air bubbles. A bipolar battery includes: a battery element obtained by interposing a bipolar electrode between electrolytic layers, and stacking the plural bipolar electrodes, wherein the bipolar electrode is obtained by forming a cathode on one surface of a current collector(111) and an anode on the other surface of the current collector; a charging part(20) in which a charging material is disposed in a space between the neighboring current collectors to surround the cathode and the anode; and an exhaust part(32) which is installed in the charging part and discharges gas remaining in an inside space into the outside of the inside space, wherein the inside space is surrounded by the charging material when the bipolar electrodes are stacked. |
