PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically avoid a house from being exposed to danger.

SOLUTION: A receiving part 91 receives a broadcast signal. A received information processing part 92 acquires a sound signal from the broadcast signal received by the receiving part 91, and a sound recognition part 93 performs sound recognition on the sound signal. A determination part 94 detects information of danger such as a flood and a heavy rain from the sound signal for which sound recognition has been performed by the sound recognition part 23. An electric power control part 97 controls the state of power supply to an outlet provided in a house based on the information of danger detected by the determination part 94. The present invention can be applied to a house in which an outlet is provided, for instance.
