<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous steamed raw material cooling apparatus wherein raw materials such as sweet potatoes are quickly cooled after being steamed. <P>SOLUTION: In the continuous steamed raw material cooling apparatus, the stacked raw material 10 is supported on an air permeable conveyor 4 moving inside a machine case 2, a steam jetting pipe 6 is piped at the upper part of the raw material 10 to form a steaming chamber 7, and a cooling water jetting pipe 14 is provided above the stacked raw material 10 at the rear part of the steaming chamber 7. Cooling water 14' jetted from the jetting pipe 14 is supplied to the raw material 10, the upper part of the cooling water jetting pipe 14 is made to communicate with the atmosphere to blow air to the stacked raw material 10 to which the cooling water 14' is stuck, the cooling water 14' stuck to the raw material 10 is vaporized and vaporization latent heat is taken to the atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
