PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device for an automatic transmission capable of restraining operating noise (idling noise) from a solenoid valve such as hitting noise generated when an armature of the solenoid valve abuts on a stopper when the solenoid valve is operated without being filled with a working fluid. SOLUTION: A noise preventing control voltage which is a control voltage when the solenoid valve 22 is not filled with the pilot working fluid is changed with respect to an ordinary control voltage which is a control voltage when the solenoid valve 22 is filled with the pilot working fluid.
