PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open showcase reducing compressed feeling felt by customers or the like facing the open showcase and capable of emphasize articles. SOLUTION: In the open showcase cooling a refrigerating chamber 8 by forming an air curtain 12 by cool air blown out from a cool air blowing out port 10 toward a suction port in the front face of the refrigerating chamber 8 within a showcase body where a ventilation pathway 4 for the cool air is formed between an outer box 2 and an inner box 3, a canopy illumination 26 is arranged on the inner face side of a canopy 20 extending forward from the upper front end of the outer box 2, a curved face U curved outward from the rear upper side to the front lower side is formed on the outer face of a front hanging portion 20b of the canopy 20, and the front side of the canopy illumination 26 is covered with the curved face U.
