<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recognition device, an image recognition method and a control program, capable of efficiently recognizing an image by use of various images without restriction. <P>SOLUTION: This image recognition device 1 detects a face image from a recognition target image, and collates images of a plurality of registrants with the detected face image according to predetermined collation order to execute collation processing for specifying the registrant of the face image. When one face image is specified as the image of the registrant by the collation processing, the image recognition device 1 determines collation order of the other registrant based on a relevance degree wherein the specified registrant and the other registrant are simultaneously photographed, and executes the subsequent collation processing according to the determined collation order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
