DEVICE FOR REHABILITATING AND AIDING ANTERIOR TIBIAL MUSCLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for rehabilitating and aiding an anterior tibial muscle which can be easily handled and can acquire a smooth walking ability using for rehabilitating and aiding walking ability.

SOLUTION: The device for rehabilitating and auxiliary has: a short lower thigh equipment 16 having a leg housing member 12 into which a foot portion 11 is inserted a tibia housing member 14 arranged in the rear portion side of the foot housing member 12 and secured to a tibia portion 13 and worn around a lower thigh 15; a drive means 17 whose both end portions are coupled to the front upper portion side of the foot housing member 12 and the front upper portion side of the tibia housing member 14 and inclining the toe side of the foot housing member 12 to the heel side by expanding and contracting; first and second pressure detecting sensors 19, 20 secured to the toe side and the heel portion of the bottom portion 18 of the foot housing member 12 respectively and detecting the pressure acting on the bottom portion 18; and a drive control means 21 determining whether or not the bottom portion 18 contacts the ground during walking from the detected values of the first and second pressure sensors 19, 20 and expanding or contracting the drive means 17 according to walking movement.
