<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce distortion of the sound image of audio output from four speakers. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding frequency-amplitude characteristics of audio output from the four speakers, a band is provided, where an inter-ch difference is regarded as important, within a low frequency band as a range to carry out correction processing, so that frequency-amplitude characteristic of one channel after correction processing is matched with that of another channel. In correction processing, weighting is set to make preferentially small the difference of frequency-amplitude characteristics within the band where the inter-ch difference is regarded as important. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
