<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte lithium secondary battery capable of achieving cycling characteristics higher than conventional solid electrolyte lithium secondary batteries. <P>SOLUTION: A lithium secondary battery has a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a solid electrolyte, wherein the positive electrode contains a positive electrode active material particle which is composed of a particle made of a material capable of being doped/dedoped with lithium ions and a compound containing an element M which is placed on the surface of the particle in the form of fine particles or a layer (where the compound containing an element M is composed of one or more compounds selected from oxides, hydroxides, oxyhydroxides and carbonates containing one or more elements selected from B, Al, Mg, Co, Cr, Mn and Fe as the element M). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
