<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter capable of well reducing common mode noise which is generated by switching of a power semiconductor switching element that is incorporated. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter device 1 provides/receives power from a pair of power source lines 3 and 4 insulated from ground. Power source line side main electrode terminals 51 and 61 of upper arm elements 5 and 6 are connected to, for example, a conductive base 13 of ground potential through capacitors 9 and 10. Power source line side main electrode terminals 71 and 81 of lower arm elements 7 and 8 are connected to, for example, the conductive base 13 of ground potential through capacitors 11 and 12. Since, with this configuration, the common mode current generated by the inverter device 1 can be bypassed at a low impedance through the capacitors 9-12, the common mode noise that is propagated to the outside through the pair of power source line conductors 3 and 4 is well reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
