<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent displacement of a flexible printed wiring board supported by a clip-type connector. <P>SOLUTION: The clip-type connector 2 comprises a base 10 supporting a flexible printed wiring board 4, and an arm 12 movably mounted in the base 10. The arm 12 moves between a closed position supporting the flexible printed wiring board 4 together with the base 10 and an open position capable of detaching the flexible printed wiring board 4. A recess 32 is formed to put the distal end of the flexible printed wiring board 4 therein. Further, the base 10 has an engagement member 36 slidably mounted in the widthwise direction of the flexible printed board 4. The engagement member 36 moves into the recess in contact with the arm 12 travelled to the closed position to engage with a notch 8 formed at the side of the flexible printed wiring board 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
