PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transfer data being an object for specified processing to a collecting device in a network relay system. SOLUTION: The network relay system is provided with a data collecting device for collecting first data being an object for specified processing, and one or a plurality of network repeaters directly or indirectly connected to the data collecting device. At least one of the network repeaters is provided with a determining part for determining whether received data are the first data, and a marking part for performing marking of the determined data to be the first data. The network repeaters respectively perform first transfer processing for sending the received data to the data collecting device when marking is performed, and also perform second transfer processing for sending the received data to a designated destination when the marking is not performed.
