PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "recording medium drive", in which an insertion port of a recording medium such as a disk and a shutter for opening/closing this insertion port are included and the shutter is stably supported and the insertion port can be surely closed by a short distance movement of the shutter. SOLUTION: In the shutter 10, a first guiding slotted hole 11a and a second guiding slotted hole 11b are formed, and a first sliding projected part 12 fixed to a front surface 2a of a casing 2 is slid by the first guiding slotted hole 11a and a second sliding projected part 13 is slid by the second guiding slotted hole 11b. The first guiding slotted hole 11a and the second guiding slotted hole 11b are inclined to the directions different each other, and when the shutter 10 is moved to a X2 direction, the shutter 10 is turned counterclockwise and reached to a closing position capable of closing the insertion port 4.
