PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration mill which prevents a fixing means fixing a frame body on an installation surface from being loaded with no big power and suppresses an increase in the vibration of the frame body supporting a cylindrical container into which an object to be crushed is thrown, and to provide an oscillating crushing method of the vibration mill. SOLUTION: The vibration mill 1 has a constitution that four cylindrical containers in which the object to be crushed W is thrown are used as a set, each being arranged oppositely on two crossing straight lines and supported by the frame body 5, and the cylindrical containers supported by the frame body are vibrated respectively by a rotation-vibration means 6 eccentric-rotating a rotary shaft 6a provided along the cylindrical container. The rotary shafts are synchronized so that the directions centrifugalized on each cylindrical container in adjacent positions from a first cylindrical container 7A to a fourth cylindrical container 7D turn axisymmetrical, and the rotary shafts are synchronized such that in the first cylindrical container to the fourth cylindrical container of the adjacent positions, the directions of the centrifugal force turn reverse.
