PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-sliding type sliding door device which can stabilize the attitude of a first door body for opening/closing an opening along with a second door body. SOLUTION: A first guide rail 30, which serves as a first guide member for guiding a first door body 21 as a top-railed sliding door body in the direction of opening/closing movement, is mounted on a head member 10 above the first door body 21. A second guide rail 39, which serves as a second guide member for guiding a second door body 22 as the top-railed sliding door body, capable of moving retractably into the first door body 21, in the direction of opening/closing movement, is mounted on the upper portion of the first door body 21. A position P2, in the direction of opening/closing movement, of a second roller 40A as a second engaging portion on the door-end side of the second door body 22 is located on a door-tail side with respect to a position P1, in the direction of opening/closing movement, of a first roller 32A as a first engaging portion on the door-end side of the first door body 21, through all movement steps from the full opening of the first and second door bodies 21 and 22 to the full closing of them.
