A traffic situation display method, traffic situation display system, vehicle-mounted device, and computer program capable of increasing traffic safety by displaying the position of a user vehicle on a video obtained by capturing a region including a road. The vehicle-mounted device (20) receives video data and video-related information, acquires information on the position of the user vehicle by using a positioning section (24), and acquires the priority order of the direction of monitoring from a priority order table stored in a display determination section (26). Based on the acquired priority order and the direction of advance of the user vehicle, the vehicle-mounted device (20) selects video data (video camera) to be displayed and calculates the pixel coordinates of the user vehicle based on corresponding information included in the acquired information of the position of the user vehicle and in the video-related information. The vehicle-mounted device (20) displays in an overlaid manner a user vehicle position mark on the video when the calculated pixel coordinates are within a screen.
