A method for registering electronic payment and settlement services of a customer by using an automatic giro receiving device is provided to enable a customer to request an EBPP(Electronic Billing Presentation and Payment) service without visiting a website of an EBPP service company or registering electronic bills respectively by processing EBPP service request automatically in the automatic giro receiving device. An automatic giro receiving device outputs an EBPP service registration application screen, and an EBPP customer communication tool information. The automatic giro receiving device transmits the customer communication tool information, and giro reception information or a giro image to an EBPP registration server when a customer inputs EBPP service registration application information or the customer communication tool information to an input unit of the automatic giro receiving device(835). The EBPP registration server stores and registers the information received from the automatic giro receiving device to a storage medium.
