<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precise index for determining various influences caused by a meteorological phenomenon. <P>SOLUTION: A prediction data analysis part 16 holds a conditional probability table (CPT) showing a conditional probability in dependency of a plurality of weather determination elements relative to a specific meteorological phenomenon (for example, a heavy rain). The prediction data analysis part 16 acquires weather observation data, and weather prediction data operated by a weather prediction model operation part 14, and determines respectively the plurality of weather determination elements based on the acquired weather prediction data and weather observation data. Then, a probability of occurrence of a heavy rain is calculated based on the conditional probability table based on a determination result of each determined weather determination element. A data determination/delivery part 17 informs a user of probability information of occurrence of a heavy rain when the calculated probability of occurrence of the heavy rain exceeds a threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
