PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet apparatus which can prevent such a risk that a user touches an open surface of an absorber of a waste liquid ink tank when the waste liquid ink tank is removed or after the waste liquid ink tank is removed, and which can prevent the user from being stained. SOLUTION: The liquid storage part 140, which stores a liquid guided to from a liquid jet head through a guiding part and absorbed by an absorbing member 150, has an opening 141a at an opposed surface of the guiding part, and a removing member 144 which removes the liquid left in the vicinity of an outlet side of the guiding part. A removing member storage mechanism 143 or the like is equipped, in which the removing member 144 is stored not to be exposed from the opening 141a when the liquid storage part 140 is removed.
