PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device more facilitated in driving operation for avoiding an obstacle. SOLUTION: An estimated travelling track 120 of a vehicle, a vehicle shape figure 110 showing a shape of the vehicle and an obstacle detecting point P around the vehicle are displayed in a display device. Further, the vehicle shape figure 110 contains a steering wheel figure 111 showing a steering wheel, and direction of the steering wheel figure 111 is changed in response to the steering angle of the vehicle. With this structure, it is easy to instinctively understand how the vehicle is going to turn. Since it is easier to understand how to drive to avoid the obstacle, driving to avoid the obstacle is facilitated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
