PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system which is improved in usability regarding speech communication with a speech communication slave unit. SOLUTION: In a wireless I/F device 4, when a wireless communication unit 44 receives answer notice transmitted from one mobile phone terminal 3, a control unit 43 refers to a data table stored in a storage unit 40, and transmits video data of a motion picture when a flag for motion picture display function is set to "1" for the IP address of the transmission origin of the answer notice or transmits video data for one frame of the motion picture when the flag for motion display function is set to "0" and a flag for still picture display function is set to "1", or does not transmit the video data when the flags for motion picture display function and still picture display function are both set to "0". Consequently, the video is not unnecessarily transmitted to a mobile phone terminal 3 which does not have a display function for video, and then the usability is improved.
