PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent for the body, removing stains without damaging the skin surfaces of the hands and the face and having an excellent feel. SOLUTION: The detergent composition for the body comprises a water-absorbing resin fine particle having absorbed water as an abrasive. The detergent composition has the water absorption performance of the water-absorbing resin fine particle of preferably≤100 ml/g as water absorption performance to pure water.
