PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel compound having the excellent charge transporting property and being capable of achieving high sensitivity at when being used in a photoreceptor as a charge transporting agent, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor with the excellent sensitivity characteristics by using the same as a charge transporting agent. SOLUTION: Provided are a novel bistriphenylamine derivative represented by the general formula (1), and an electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising a photosensitive layer containing at least a charge generating agent and a charge transporting agent, wherein the charge transporting agent comprises the bistriphenylamine derivative.
