PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which carries out one game notifying players especially by stopping and displaying the combination of symbols a plurality of times concerning a machine type which awards prizes based on the combinations of symbols and its play method. SOLUTION: The slot machine 1 determines the results of lotteries to be done five times as making up the outcome of one game under given conditions of operation (S13) and starts the variable display of symbols 90 at the first-fifth symbol display parts 7A-7E and a partial symbol display part 7 (S43). Each time the variable display period passes, the slot machine 1 notifies players of the results of the five lotteries sequentially on a partial symbol display part 7 and a symbol display part corresponding to a frequency of notification counter (S45) to determine prizes for the respective results of lotteries (S46).
