The shock bearing comprises a pretensionable unit, whose pretensioned force is so selected such that the vertical lifting or lowering of the unit from a clamping surface (20) occurs only by a defined outer force acting on the pretensioned unit. The pretensioned unit is a rubber cushion (1). The rubber cushion is pretensioned by clamping devices (2) between flanges (3,4). The flanges are drawn together with the help of tension rods (5). A spacer (6) is connected between the flanges, which is to be prestressed by force.
