摘要 A structure for changing air flow direction of a ventilator using a variable volute is provided to discharge air through one of several air outlets selected by simply moving a moving volute. A structure for changing air flow direction of ventilator includes a housing(H), a motor(10), a sirocco fan(20), a variable volute(30), a moving unit, a first air outlet(31A), a second air outlet(31B), and a damper(60). The motor is fixed on the housing. The sirocco fan is mounted on the motor and generates air flow. The volute forms an air passage(40) and consists of fixed and moving volutes(32,34). The fixed volute is fixed on the housing and embraces the sirocco fan. The moving volute is installed on an opening of the fixed volute and moves for forming air flow. The moving unit moves the moving volute. The first air outlet is formed on the fixed volute, and opens and closes by the movement of the moving volute. The second air outlet forms the open portion of the fixed volute. The damper is rotatably installed on the housing and elastically supported by a torsion spring for rotating in order to block the air passage, and rotates in order to block the first air outlet by the fixed volute.
