<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomolecule detecting element capable of immobilizing easily a detecting probe, and usable simply without requiring a black box or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The biomolecule detecting probe 28 is immobilized on a surface of a conductive electrode 27 in an insulation gate field effect transistor provided with the conductive electrode 27 on a surface of a gate insulator between a source 32 and a drain 33. A portion other than the conductive electrode 27 is coated with a light-shielding member not to be affected by light. In measurement, the conductive electrode 27 with the biomolecule detecting probe 28 immobilized on its surface, and a reference electrode 25, are arranged in a buffer solution 30 in a measuring cell 29, and a rectangular wave is impressed to the reference electrode 25 from an electric power source 31 to detect a response waveform changed before and after a coupling of the biomolecule detecting probe 28 with a measuring object such as a DNA and a protein contained in the buffer solution 30, i.e. a change of a current value flowing between the source 32 and the drain 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
