AIR CONDITIONER WITH AIR CLEANING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a deodorizing effect with charged corpuscle water of nano-meter size without degrading air blowing performance. SOLUTION: This air conditioner with an air cleaning function comprises a housing 2 having an air suction port 6 and an air outlet 7; an air blowing means 3 disposed in the housing to discharge air sucked from the air suction port, from the air outlet via a blowing path 5 in the housing; and an electrostatic atomizing device 11. The electrostatic atomizing device 11 is disposed between the inner surface of the housing 2 and the outer surface of a partition wall 4 for forming the air blowing path 5 in the housing, and a discharge port for discharging mist of the electrostatic atomizing device is led to the blowing path 4 through a tube 21. The electrostatic atomizing device is disposed outside the blowing path, and the mist is led to the blowing path through the tube. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
