PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal in which light leaked from a plurality of window parts can be viewed as if the light flows from one side to the other, while reducing the number of components and consumption of the current. SOLUTION: Windows 49<SB>1</SB>and 49<SB>3</SB>having LEDs 48<SB>1</SB>and 48<SB>2</SB>disposed in their neighborhood and a window 49<SB>2</SB>having no LEDs disposed in its neighborhood are alternately provided in a line, and the pulse width of a voltage pulse applied to LEDs 48<SB>1</SB>and 48<SB>2</SB>is controlled to a time width corresponding to luminance by a control part 50 to control on/off states and the luminance of LEDs 48<SB>1</SB>and 48<SB>2</SB>, and such control is performed that a luminance peak is successively shifted from the LED 48<SB>1</SB>in one end side to the LED 48<SB>2</SB>in the other at intervals of a prescribed time. Consequently, light leaked from windows 49<SB>1</SB>, 49<SB>2</SB>, and 49<SB>3</SB>is represented as if it flows from one side to the other, and the number of LEDs 48<SB>1</SB>and 48<SB>2</SB>is made smaller than the number of windows 49<SB>1</SB>, 49<SB>2</SB>, and 49<SB>3</SB>to reduce the number of the components and the consumption of the current.
