A workpiece-gripping device for tool machines having a motorized chuc k (20) mounted on an operating head (21) comprises a housing (12;112), a driving shaft (16;116) journaled in the housing (12,112) and provided with a shank (18,118) engageable in the chuck (20), a locking member (68,168) configured to engage a reaction member integral with the operating head (21) when the shank (18,118) engages the chuck (20), whereby the rotation of the device is prevented when the chuck is driven, and at least a pincer having jaws (40,42,140,142,140',142'), of which at least one is movable and operatively connected via transmission means (34,134,60,160,160',36b,38b,136b,138b,136'b,138'b) to said driving shaft (16,116) for opening and closing. |
