A plasma display apparatus is provided to reduce manufacturing cost by removing a large scaled pass switch from a driver for applying driving signals to scan electrodes of a plasma display panel. A plasma display apparatus includes a sustain driver and a scan IC(Integrated Circuit). The sustain driver includes first, second, and third switches(Q1,Q2,Q3). The first switch is turned on to apply a sustain voltage(Vs) to a plasma display panel. The second and third switches are turned on to apply a ground voltage to the plasma display panel. The scan IC includes fourth and fifth switches(Q12,Q11). The fourth switch is turned on to apply a scan voltage(Vscan) to the plasma display panel. The fifth switches are turned on to apply the ground voltage to the plasma display panel. The third switch is connected to the second switch in series.
