A circuit for amplifying data of a semiconductor memory apparatus is provided to control amplification frequency of an input signal by performing test operation of amplifying the input signal one time or more than twice in response to a test signal. A control unit(100) generates a control signal to control amplification step in response to the input of a test signal. A data amplification unit(200) amplifies an input signal one time or more than twice and then outputs the amplified input signal, in response to the input of the control signal. The control unit generates a first control signal in response to a first driving signal and the test signal, and outputs a second control signal and a third control signal in response to a second driving signal and the test signal.
