FRAMEWORK CONFIGURATION AND OPERATING METHOD OF OPEN HOME NETWORK

A method for configuring an OHF and an operating method therefor are provided to manage users and services on the basis of platform resources, thereby providing a framework for supplying a reliable service in multiple/download services to the users. An OHF(Open Home Network Framwork) comprises a user application layer(310), a core framework layer(320), and a communication layer(330). The user application layer has an application service GUI(Graphic User Interface)(311) for application services. An integrated GUI(312) integrally managed by the user application layer manages the application service GUI. A service API(Application Program Interface)(314) interfaces between the user application layer and the core framework layer. The core framework layer comprises an IPC(Inter Processor Communication) for upper service interfacing(321), a service control component(322), a message adaptor(323), an IPC(324) for service information interfacing, and a legacy component(325). The service control component groups and manages detailed service items, determines a service group, and updates an interlocked interface. The message adaptor processes interfacing between the service control component and the legacy component. The communication layer provides services based on a specific hardware platform. An application API(326) controls and manages hardware resources used in the upper core framework layer.
