<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure convenience and safety at the time of getting in/out while reducing the number of illumination lights of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This assist grip 9 is mounted on a front passenger seat side of an instrument panel 1 of the vehicle so as to project to inside of a cabin and extend to the vehicle width direction. A grip main body 22 of the assist grip 9 is arranged above a glove box 7 of the instrument panel 1. An illumination light 35 is mounted to the grip main body 22, and irradiates the floor before the front passenger seat and inside of the glove box 7 when the glove box 7 is opened in the lighting state.
