OILY GELLING AGENT, GEL COMPOSITION OBTAINED BY USING THE SAME, AND APPLICATION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oily gelling agent effectively gelling various kinds of oils and fats, a silicone oil or the like, to provide a gel composition obtained by using the oily gelling agent, and to provide applications of them.

SOLUTION: The oily gelling agent comprises oils and fats using palmitic acid and behenic acid in a mass ratio of from 30:70 to 70:30 as constituent fatty acids, preferably containing ≥70 mass% of a triglyceride wherein ≥60% of the behenic acid is present at the sn-2 position, and having ≤10 of iodine value. The gel composition contains 0.1-50 mass% of the oily gelling agent. The water-in-oil type or oil-in-water type emulsion composition contains the gelling agent. The nonaqueous foaming composition is also provided.
