<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous steamed raw material cooling apparatus capable of efficiently steaming raw materials such as sweet potatoes. <P>SOLUTION: In the apparatus, a machine case 2 is provided with a raw material feed port 17, a raw material steaming chamber 7 and a steamed raw material cooling part 13, and the raw material 10 stack on an air permeable conveyor 4 is continuously steamed and cooled while being moved in a horizontal direction.
