PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer unit reducing the number of sheet detecting sensors, simplifying the configuration, and reducing the cost. SOLUTION: The printer unit 1 is equipped with a feed roller 4, a delivery roller 6, and an ejection roller 7 which respectively feeds, delivers, and ejects a sheet 2; a feed sensor section 8 having a switch 8b to be turned on and off by a lever section 8a which rotates when the leading edge of the sheet 2 touches it; and an ejection checker section 9 having a U-shaped rib 91 under the delivery roller 6 and the ejection roller 7. The contact of the sheet 2 under ejection to a control section 20 rotates the U-shaped rib 91 in a see-saw manner. This turns on the switch 8b of the feed sensor section 8 and causes the control section 20 to recognize ejection of the sheet. When the sheet 2 jams at the ejection roller 7, the feed sensor section 8 detects the jam and causes the feed roller 4 to stop feeding the sheet.
